MANAGEMENT & ORGANIZATION DEVELOPMENT EXPERIENCE:

Executive Director, Community Land Trust Association of West Marin (CLAM), January 2003 – present.

·         Leads and manages all aspects of nonprofit community land trust for affordable housing in Point Reyes, a rural area near San Francisco (part-time position).

·      Designed and guided collaborative change efforts in a variety of non-profit, public-, and private-sector organizations that have resulted in agreements among stakeholders of differing perspectives & interests, as well as improved performance, increased efficiency and effectiveness, and transfer of skills enabling clients to undertake further collaborative change efforts on their own.

·      Planned and facilitated meetings and conferences of all types and sizes, enabling participants to map out their desired futures, solve problems, and resolve differences.

·     Coached leaders and managers on how to effectively involve people at all levels of an organization in order to create changes and achieve results that actually get implemented.

·      Developed and conducted training in leadership, meeting facilitation, team effectiveness, collaborative problem solving, conflict resolution, managing change, and non-profit board development.

Director of Operations, Planning Director, County Program Officer, Central Valley Opportunity Center, Inc., 1978 - 1980.

·         Developed and managed government and foundation-funded programs of over $3 million/year for non-profit agency providing services for farmworkers and their families.  Program areas included: employment and training, childcare, housing rehabilitation, and home weatherization.
